Universal Music Hong Kong announced its plan on 10th December 2014 to launch Universal Music Card (UMC) in 2015, a new loyalty program designed to encourage customers to purchase physical music products. PMT is commissioned to develop the UMC membership platform, including the redemption website as well as adding the feature to the official Universal Music HK app. Customers can use the UMC app to scan the QR code label provided in qualified physical music products. Once sufficient points are registered, customers will receive a privilege card by post, and start enjoying special offers from over 100 participating merchants, such as Adidas, German Pool, Fitness First, etc.
